...And I'm talking about coffee. Well, maybe not. Since I'm operating on one cup so far, it's hard to tell. *smile*
Coffee is such a burning topic for me. I thrive on it. Not unusual to have a pot a day and most times, more. When I buy, it's beans and for some reason I keep it in the freezer. Why does it never freeze? I take cream in my coffee. My favorite is a latte from a local coffee shop. I can't leave the house without stopping by for a cup - no matter how many I've already had. I believe I'm addicted. Could they be putting something else in my cup? Oh well, I'm hooked - so is my hero in WITH EXTRA CREAM.
Today, I'm asking this question for a reason. It's a contest. WITH EXTRA CREAM releases Friday from Changeling Press and I want to make sure you're all ready for it! Jag loves his coffee with extra cream.
BLURB:
Getting enough cream is a problem for this cat...
Jag Arizon has a plan to correct that. A jaguar from the Kind species, big cats infected with vampyre blood, he walks in both worlds. Aside from blood, he's addicted to cream, and only one person can cure him. In convincing her to donate to his cause, jag gets much more than he bargained for.
Barbara Dorsey, the uptight co-owner of the local coffee shop, has all the cream this cat needs. But she's only giving it away in dreams to the one man who not only opens the door to her every desire -- he can change her world forever.
How do you like your coffee? Who makes your favorite cup of coffee. Do you like it with extra cream?
To enter the contest, answer the questions above in the comment section. Friday morning one lucky winner will be picked to receive a tee shirt - Are You Kind? Good luck.
For those of you BOLD! enough... click on the tee shirt, visit my website and join my Yahoo Group. Create a photo album and download a picture, book cover, whatever. You will have a second chance to win. Are You Kind?
Don't forget to get your copy Friday at: http://www.changelingpress.com/. Enjoy!
Sounds steamy!!
ReplyDeleteLove cream in my coffee, so I'm with you there. *smile*

Me too, Chiron. I even do the whipped cream sometimes. Thanks for stopping by.
ReplyDeleteSounds "hot" ;)
ReplyDeleteI must have cream in my coffee. Man jokes that I like a little coffee with my cream. When I don't make it at home, I'm buying it at Starbucks and my drink of choice is the Grande Vanilla Latte.
Extra cream? Oh yes! ;)
I'm heavy on the cream too! My favorite is caramel latte. Thanks for coming by.
ReplyDeleteI use to drink mine with alot of cream, but about twenty years ago my body decided it was allergic to dairy. I love my coffee (black now), but I do enjoy the flavored ones, especially hazelnut, I just have to watch what I order :( :(
ReplyDeleteNo cream, just ordinary milk here.
ReplyDeleteThere aren't many coffee shops in my part of germany, so I prefer my coffee fresh grounded and hand brewed at home ;)
I like my coffee with French vanilla cream, and for special occasions I like Bailey's in my coffee.
ReplyDeleteYour excerpt sounds great.
Judy, I do love hazelnut. Ute, fresh ground is best! and I keep a pot going at home. Thanks to both of you for stopping by.
ReplyDeleteNow we're talking, Sandy, sounds delicious. Thanks for stopping by and enjoy a good cup today.
ReplyDeleteThe question should read do you like coffee with your sugar and cream? lol My favorite cup of coffee is with half and half with tons of sugar! Ahhhhh, heaven AND the coffee has to be strong!
ReplyDeleteLastnerve, I usually take two shots in my lattes - helps to counterbalance all the cream. *grins*. Thanks for stopping by.
ReplyDeleteI think my absolute favorite kind of coffee is my own. And its not the coffe so much as it is the coffee maker. I just like using it, but, when I get fancy, I like to put in cinnamon sugar with honey and half and half. Makes for a sweet treat. Oh, and whip cream of course! :)
ReplyDeleteTeirney, must have the whipped cream, of course. Delicious! Wow, am I getting great ideas for my next cup. Thanks for stopping by.
ReplyDeleteIf I must have coffee, I like it very light with lots of cream, heavy cream, and sugar. But I prefer Chai Lattes.
ReplyDeleteDang, I don't like coffee at all. I wish I did because the smell is fantastic. Sometimes I'll brew a pot just so the house smells good :-)
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the book release :-) Can't wait!
Rebecca and Sandi,
ReplyDeleteGlad you guys stopped by. I just brewed a pot so the house smells dreamy, Sandi. And I'll add lots of cream, Rebecca.
Great authors in the house!
I really don't drink coffee, but when I'm in New Orleans a stop at Cafe DuMonde is a must. And while I'm there I will order an iced coffee with cream. However, I work in a casino with an Asian cafe and they serve iced coffee using evaporated milk. Which is actually very good and strong, especially when you have to work until 3am.
ReplyDeleteI'm a two shot person, so strong is good. Not sure about the evaporated milk but love iced coffee especially when it's warm out. Thanks so much for stopping by and sharing. Now I want to go to New Orleans!
