Pretty flowers...

Valentine's Day is behind us, Spring is coming! The weather this week's been simply wonderful--just maybe the groundhog was right!

I'm itching to get in my garden, but in the meantime...I'm enjoying some pretty flowers!

Spreading the Love Blog Hop

 Welcome!

Whether you're visiting A Sovereign Spot for the first time, or you popped in for the Spreading the Love Blog Hop, I'm glad you're here. Romance authors are spreading love this weekend, and we hope you enjoy stopping by each blog along the way to read stories written in honor of the holiday. If you take a wrong turn, you can find your way back HERE.

Once again, we have a picture that some authors may use to weave a tale of new love, lost love, no love... Who knows where it will lead. If you liked the last short I wrote, you can find a longer version, ONE DROP, at Whipped Cream's Free Erotic Short Story.

Grab some chocolates, a glass of wine, and snuggle in for a really good time, and as always - have fun!

PURE BRED

I hated the lie my life had become. Hell, maybe it was just this stupid-ass jacket. My shoulders rolled beneath the flimsy material, muscles bunched and knotted together. Who thought a scrap of material made from denim was sexy anyway? Especially one that fit so poorly. Pasting the smile I’d practiced wearing everyday back on my face, my mind struggled to the here and now, to the man on his knees in front of me. What could I say to him, how much could he bear?
The sweet, cloying scent of the rose wafted in the air, ran in dizzying circles around my head, and strangled me with the idea it represented. Love. Not possible. Given what I was born to be, and wanting more than anything to assume the role I’d been chosen for, there was no room in my life for the kind of devotion attached to the meaning of this one tiny flower bud.

I’d done everything asked of me, passed every test they’d thrown my way, and now I waited.

A last fling, that’s all this should have been, but damn, why’d he have to be so good. My tongue darted out, swept my lips as I remembered the sweet taste of his mouth. Envisioning the thickness of his cock, and the way it filled my pussy, made me wet. He'd laid claim to me in a way that should never have been possible. As I looked down at him, warm liquid pooled in the pretty red panties I wore. My keen nose picked up the pungent odor of sex immediately. As close as he was, he should have detected the desire, the need coursing through my body. But he wouldn’t…

Humans never did!

OOOH! Forgot the Hunks in RED!!

Stylish Blogger Award

Wow!

I received the Stylish Blogger Award from the ever-awesome Annie Nicholas. Thanks! I've accepted the award, and now I must create a 'stylish' blog post. First, hop over to Annie's at www.annienicholas.blogspot.com and learn 7 things about her. By the time you get back, I'll have thought of 7 things to tell you about me. Go ahead... I'll wait.

You're back!

Hmmm...7 things about me --

1. I used to quarter mile drag race...and this was my car. I was damn good too!!!
2. I have one child, a really wonderful son. That's him by the car. He's now NHRA licensed and runs a lot faster than I ever did. Uhh, wouldn't mind a ride in his new car. Maybe he'll read this...
3. I have a thing for Cesar Millan, the Dog Whisperer.
4. Contrary to popular belief, I can cook my ass off.
5. As believed, I open more cans than I should :(
6. Red Hot potato chips, I love 'em.
7. My favorite song ever: It's a Man's World by the fabulous James Brown and Luciano Pavarotti.
Awesome, I did it, 7 things about me!!

Now, I'm off to stylishly present the award to 10 lucky bloggers.

One Drop...

Remember the New Year Blog Hop--we all wrote a bit around the same characters in a picture? Well, I had so many comments on wanting more, I wrote a short erotic free read for LASR's Whipped Cream Review site. I hope you enjoy ONE DROP.

She’d had the dream for months.

Lynn watched him walk across the noisy bar filled with clinking glasses, paper blow horns, and the drunken strains of Auld Lang Syne. Her body trembled as he approached, not in fear -- in anticipation.

“You knew I’d come for you.”

Weak with desire, one word slipped past her lips, “Please…”

“You belong to me,” he whispered.

ONE DROP is all it takes...
