Submit or Re-Submit!

Sound like a sandwich? Where I come from that's what we call a hoagie - sub - short for submarine sandwich. LOL I'm sure it has something to do with the shape. Or it could be a BDSM book title, huh? It's neither. I submitted a story, my very first contemporary, that needed some tender loving care, which it was given, along with the addition of over 4,000 words! But it's done, and back off to the editor. My fingers are crossed she'll love it. Now, the waiting begins... Back to the cat cave and remember: Growl and roar-it's okay to let the beast out.-J. Book of The Week results

SCREWED didn't win but made one hell of a showing. Changeling authors were everywhere! WTG.
It was thrilling to have such a great review, as well as the opportunity to compete for the Book of the Week at Whipped Cream Reviews. I'll proudly display the badge on my website.
Thanks to everyone who voted - you guys are the best.
For those who enjoyed the story, there will be more from Purp, Dick and Peter.

SCREWED was Reviewed and Archangels Fly

SCREWED received 4 1/2 CHERRIES! This is a funny take on the erotica genre, but there’s also a good story, too. J. Hali Steele uses names and characterizations typical to the genre, but the substance of the story makes this work worth the time. - Tiger Lily. See more review at Whipped Cream Erotica Now for the Angels: They will take flight. I've signed a contract with Ellora's Cave and I'm looking at a series. This couldn't make me happier. I have a great love affair going with these guys and one I hope will satisfy my readers. They're sexy, bold and the bad boys of heaven. Stay tuned for more. I got Screwed...

on a shirt and it's so cool! Stefanie at Image Is Everything did a fantastic job. I can't wait to wear it next week.
Also, I may have some good news regarding a contract when I get back from RWA in DC. My fingers, toes and eyes are crossed!
I'll let you know as soon as I know if pulling out the champagne is warranted.
Bye for now.
